Strategic Chief Revenue Officer

New York City Metropolitan AreaBorealis Global Analytics

Position Overview

Borealis Global Analytics is seeking an experienced, highly connected Strategic Chief Revenue Officer to lead institutional commercial growth for our factor investing, macroeconomic, and analytics solutions. This role is focused on building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across the institutional investment ecosystem, including asset managers, index providers, ETF issuers, data vendors, wealth platforms, consultants, and research organizations.

The ideal candidate combines deep institutional market relationships with commercial acumen and subject matter expertise in factor investing, equities, index construction, and portfolio research. This individual will not simply originate introductions, but also play a role in the sales process—helping position Borealis’ solutions, shape conversations, build credibility with sophisticated buyers, and guide opportunities through partnership, licensing, or enterprise sales discussions. Closing sales does not fall entirely on this role.

This role is especially well suited to an accomplished executive, senior commercial leader, institutional relationship manager, or former industry professional seeking an intellectually engaging opportunity with meaningful strategic impact. While the role is listed in the New York metropolitan area for visibility purposes, Borealis is open to exceptional candidates globally and welcomes applicants with strong institutional networks across international markets.

About Borealis

Borealis Global Analytics is a research and analytics company focused on modernizing global equity allocation by helping investors move from fragmented data and backward-looking signals to explainable, forward-looking investment intelligence. We do this by building systematic factor investing dashboards, macroeconomic intelligence, and quantitative research tools.

We are an early-stage, research-driven team building products designed for sophisticated institutional audiences—including asset managers, ETF and index providers, wealth platforms, research organizations, and data partners. • Demonstrated access to and strong relationships with senior decision-makers across institutional finance, including asset managers, ETF issuers, index providers, research organizations, wealth platforms, consultants, allocators, or data vendors.
  • Established global professional network strongly preferred, with the ability to create access to relevant stakeholders across North America, Europe, Asia, and other key investment markets.
  • Strong understanding of institutional decision-making processes, stakeholder mapping, and how to navigate complex organizations to advance commercial discussions.
  • Ability to identify the appropriate institutional contacts, facilitate high-value introductions, and help sustain momentum through follow-up and relationship management.
  • Working knowledge of factor investing, equities, index methodologies, ETF ecosystems, portfolio construction, or quantitative investment frameworks sufficient to engage credibly in institutional discussions.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage confidently with senior institutional audiences.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and relationship management skills with strong commercial judgment and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in institutional relationship management, business development, capital introduction, consultant relations, partnership development, or executive leadership roles.
  • Experience interacting with or supporting institutional investment products, research platforms, financial data businesses, ETF ecosystems, or index-related businesses.
  • CFA Charterholder status or comparable investment industry expertise preferred.
  • Experience operating in entrepreneurial, advisory, or growth-stage environments.

Success in This Role

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Creation of meaningful institutional relationships and commercial opportunities.
  • Ability to open and sustain high-value product discussions with senior market participants.
  • Revenue generation through partnerships, licensing arrangements, pilots, subscriptions, or enterprise agreements.
  • Strategic contribution to Borealis’ market positioning and institutional credibility.

Compensation

This is initially a part-time, strategic leadership role designed for an experienced institutional markets professional seeking a flexible, high-impact opportunity. Compensation is expected to consist primarily of equity participation and performance-based incentives tied to commercial outcomes, reflecting Borealis’ current stage of growth. As the business scales and funding or recurring revenues develop, there may be an opportunity for the role to evolve into a more traditional compensation structure, including salary. We are open to structuring the role flexibly for the right candidate and welcome discussion regarding time commitment, incentives, and long-term alignment.
