Data Scientist/Analytics Engineer

We are hiring a Junior Data Scientist / Analytics Engineer to join the BI team. This role is for someone early in their career who wants to learn the craft of analytics in a high-velocity, data-rich environment.

Requirements

• Build dashboards
• Build, iterate on, and maintain dashboards
• Take dashboards through the full lifecycle: requirements gathering, prototyping, build, review, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
• Learn the data
• Develop a solid working knowledge of the underlying datasets that power the business
• Write clean, well-documented SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyse data
• Ask good questions: about the data, about the business, about whether a metric is actually measuring what it claims to measure
• Support the team
• Pick up smaller analyses, ad-hoc requests, and follow-up work to keep the team moving
• Document your work clearly so others can build on it
• Grow into more complex projects over time as your skills develop
