Inside Sales Representative II

Role Overview

As an Inside Sales Representative II at Builders FirstSource, you will utilize your knowledge of sales techniques, company products, and industry knowledge to provide sales and customer service support to retail and contractor customers. You will troubleshoot order processing issues, engage in researching and soliciting new customers, and expand business with current customers. You will also provide material take-offs, estimates, and pricing for large packages, and enter orders into the computer system.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include providing customer support, assisting with product selection, pricing, and availability, determining customer requirements, and recommending products and services. You will also engage in selling company products and services, scheduling production and delivery of orders, and identifying trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 (one) year of sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of company products, competitor’s products, and company standards
• Knowledge of company product pricing, discount, and estimating formulas and guidelines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong detail orientation skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Proficiency in Office Suite
• Knowledge of and ability to use motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment
