Business Development Manager – Builders

Role Overview

Join Bunnings as a Business Development Manager – Builders and play a key role in growing Bunnings’ presence within the residential building market by identifying, securing and onboarding new builder customers across Victoria. You’ll work closely with Builder Account Managers, Commercial teams, Trade Centres and store teams to turn opportunities into long-term customer relationships.

What You Will Do

Identify and engage new builder customers, build and manage a high-quality pipeline of prospects, work with customers to understand their projects and develop solutions that support their business goals, collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless onboarding experience, leverage market insights and industry knowledge to uncover opportunities for market share growth.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in a business development, acquisition or hunter sales role
• Experience within the building, construction, trade or related industries
• Proven ability to prospect, generate leads and convert opportunities into revenue
• Strong relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills
• Commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth opportunities and business outcomes
• Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasts and CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
• Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholder groups
• Understanding of residential building markets, construction methods and customer needs
• A track record of achieving sales targets and winning new business
