Role Overview

DTE Energy Co is seeking a meticulous and insightful Data Analyst to join our team. This role is essential to our mission, as you will be responsible for analysing complex data sets to extract valuable business insights, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making across our organisation.

What You Will Do

Acquiring and interpreting data from various primary and secondary sources, developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex findings to non-technical audiences.
  • A degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Statistics is preferred.
