Role Overview

The Deal Desk Finance Manager will act as a trusted advisor to the sales teams and provide finance input on deal structures & terms that maximize value to Cadence and benefit external customers and internal cross-functional teams. The person in this role will work closely with the quote-to-cash group, including the Sales, Revenue Accounting, Order Management, Credit, Sales Ops, and Legal teams.

What You Will Do

The person in this role will work with the sales team to structure and execute customer deals that achieve the Company’s financial objectives, identify potential revenue recognition, booking, and fulfillment issues associated with nonstandard features in customer deals, and maintain deep engagement with stakeholders across many teams to resolve such issues.

  • Knowledge of software, IP, hardware, and services revenue recognition rules and other accounting standards
  • 12+ Years in Finance Department/Accounting/Auditing or related discipline
