Financial Operations Analyst

Role Overview

The Operations Finance Analyst partners with operations and business leaders to provide financial analysis, performance insights, and decision support that drive operational efficiency and profitability.

Analyze operational metrics, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and develop corrective action plans to improve operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• CPA or progress toward a professional designation (CPA/CMA/CGA) is considered an asset
• 3-5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Operations Finance, Cost Accounting, or a related analytical role
• Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and operational environments required
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling and data analysis
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, JDE, etc.)
• Experience using Power BI, SQL, and other data analytics tools is an asset
