Financial Analyst, Consolidation & Reporting

Role Overview

As a member of the Corporate Accounting group, the Financial Analyst is responsible for the timely preparation of the Corporate Function expenses and assists in consolidated financial results monthly.

What You Will Do

Perform analysis of corporate expenses, assist with balance sheet analytics, and prepare month-end and quarter-end corporate journal entries within HFM.

Requirements

• University degree or College diploma in Accounting or Business Administration
• Working towards completion of a professional accounting designation (CPA)
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong working knowledge of consolidation principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Solid accounting fundamental skills
• Advanced working level of Microsoft Office Suite products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Team spirit and commitment to continuous quality improvement
• Ability to work well with all levels of the organization and build/maintain strong relationships
• Working knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management or PeopleSoft is considered an asset
