Financial Analyst

Role Overview

The Canadian Tire FP&A team plays a critical role in enabling strong financial performance in an evolving retail environment. You will partner closely with the Finance team to understand results, deliver actionable insights, and influence business decisions.

What You Will Do

Support the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process, analyze transportation and logistics costs, prepare financial reporting packages, and develop financial models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related finance role
• Working towards or holding a professional accounting/finance designation (CPA, CFA, or equivalent) considered an asset
• Strong Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is a plus
• Experience with ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) preferred
