Staff Finance Systems Engineer – Order to Cash

Role Overview

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design. As Canva scales, this role will own the Order to Cash process and systems, ensuring a single accountable technical voice across Sales Systems, Revenue Platforms, and Finance Data.

What You Will Do

Develop a strong understanding of Canva’s end-to-end B2B & B2C Order to Cash process and systems, triage major changes, and maintain working knowledge of adjacent systems. Troubleshoot and perform technical root cause analysis to deliver permanent solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years in finance systems engineering
• Deep hands-on experience in Order to Cash and revenue recognition
• Public company/SOX environment experience
• Ability to operate and be successful in high growth B2B and B2C environments
• Strong grounding in ASC 606/IFRS 15
• Proficiency in SQL and data tooling
• Evidence of authoring standards or frameworks that other engineers or teams have adopted
