Business Development Specialist, Biologics Analytical Services

We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Specialist. As a key member of our Biologics Analytical Services team, you will be responsible for developing regional markets and early relationships with Emergent Biopharma to secure new opportunities, building our credibility and trust with potential customers, collaborating with colleagues to develop sales enablement collateral and tools, and supporting account directors to progress opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous experience as Technical Field Scientist, CMC/GMP analytical development, sales of CRO/CMDO testing along with scientific degree or strong scientific acumen is preferred.
• Able to independently convert goals into structured and prioritized tasks for proactive development of assigned regional territory
• Self-motivated and target-driven mindset to continuously learn scientific offerings and exceed sales goals in a high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events.
