Analytics Engineer

Role Overview

This is a highly collaborative role that sits at the intersection of business, data, technology, and analytics. You will help transform business questions and reporting needs into reliable, scalable data products, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support decision-making across the organization.

What You Will Do

Partner with business stakeholders to understand, define, and prioritize reporting and analytics needs. Develop complex SQL queries, design and develop dashboards, and ensure reporting solutions are accurate and user-friendly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting Development, Analytics Engineering, or a related data-focused role
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, advanced SQL development, and extracting information from enterprise data warehouses
• Experience working with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into reporting and analytical solutions
• Experience in financial services, banking, or credit unions is preferred
• Must be knowledgeable in applicable BSA and compliance requirements enforced on the credit union by state and federal law
• Must present a professional image
• Must be bondable
• Regular and punctual attendance is required
• Must be able to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position
• Must be willing and able to travel in-state to various work locations as needed
• Must be able to effectively access and interpret computer screens, documents, and reports and operate standard office equipment
• Position may occasionally require squatting, climbing, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
