Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Role Overview

Champion Petfoods is expanding and seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to join their rapidly growing company. The Senior Manager, FP&A will be responsible for preparing financial analysis, business reporting, and facilitating operational financial reporting. This position supports the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis in managing short-term and long-term financial planning processes.

What You Will Do

The Senior Manager, FP&A will provide analysis of financial performance against key performance indicators, distill results into insightful recommendations, and facilitate the monthly business review process. They will also manage corporate financial planning, build the detailed annual budget, and long-term financial strategic growth plan.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA designation preferred
• Minimum five years’ experience in a finance role
• Minimum two years’ experience within the consumer-packaged goods industry preferred
• Very strong financial writing skills
• Experience with ERP systems, including reporting tools
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
• Excellent project managerial and interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to develop and sustain successful internal and external working relationships
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines, create cohesive teams, and respond quickly to management requests
• Proven ability to perform under pressure and stress and to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements
