Data Engineer

Role Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will partner with internal stakeholders and the Data Engineering team to design and develop data solutions for data science, analytics, and reporting. You will lead the use case analysis, design, and solutioning for enterprise data integrations that enable insights for internal technology leadership.

What You Will Do

Your key responsibilities will include leading discovery with stakeholders, analyzing source data, creating data warehouse models, and facilitating requirements and solution reviews.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or data analysis on data integration, data warehouse, or analytics initiatives
• 5-7 years of experience working with data warehouse platforms such as Teradata, or with Hadoop and other large-scale data environments
• 2+ years of experience working with cloud data platforms
• Strong SQL skills for exploring, profiling, reconciling, and validating data
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing and data integration concepts
• Experience translating business needs into features or user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery-ready requirements
• Experience defining or supporting data-validation and user-acceptance testing
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams and managing requirements or stories with Jira, Rally, or similar tools

Benefits

• Salary range: $125,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
