Senior Salesforce Administrator

Role Overview

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will lead the day-to-day stewardship and continued evolution of the Salesforce ecosystem, guiding and developing a team, owning critical platform controls, and remaining directly involved in the design, configuration, release, and support of business-critical solutions.

What You Will Do

The role is accountable for the reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability of the Salesforce estate, with particular focus on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the APIs and integrations that connect Salesforce to Slack and other enterprise platforms.

Requirements

• 7+ years as a Salesforce Administrator in large, multi-team environments
• Salesforce Administrator certification (required)
• Proven people leadership, including line management, coaching, performance support, work prioritisation, and development of Salesforce administrators or platform specialists
• Deep practical knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including their security, automation, data, and service-management implications
• Deep Salesforce security expertise, covering organisation-wide defaults, role hierarchies, sharing models, permission sets, field-level security, identity, privileged access, connected apps, and audit controls
• Hands-on Experience Cloud capability, including external sharing models, guest access, and community configuration
• Proven Salesforce DevOps and change-management experience using GitHub, including version-controlled deployment workflows, pull-request review, and release governance
• Experience operating API-led integrations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, authentication, limits, failure handling, and coordination across technical teams
• Experience managing SSL and authentication certificates and maintaining integration health
• Strong declarative delivery capability, particularly Flow, data modelling, validation, Lightning configuration, reporting, and environment management
• Sound release and change-management experience, including sandbox strategy, source control, testing, deployment governance, and production support
• Confident stakeholder management, with the ability to translate between commercial priorities, user needs, technical constraints, and risk
• Strong solution and design judgement, with a good understanding of platform architecture and enterprise-level data modelling
