Sr. Product Manager, Product Operations & Insights

Role Overview

The Director, Product Analytics & Telemetry will define what ‘healthy’ means for every product in Circana’s portfolio, setting standards and directing the build work for the shared telemetry and dashboard layer.

What You Will Do

Define standardized usage and health metrics, instrument products for usage and health telemetry, set priorities for self-serve dashboards, and represent product health standards to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product analytics, data/BI, or a technical product management role, with strong quantitative fluency
• Experience defining metrics and specifications precise enough for an engineer to build against
• Experience directing a dotted-line, embedded, or cross-functional engineering resource
• Comfortable standardizing definitions across product lines with different data shapes
• Cross-vertical thinking, with a strong track record of standardizing metric definitions across multiple product lines or teams
• Ability to influence senior product, technology, and business stakeholders
• Direct experience with instrumentation or telemetry systems, and background working in a horizontal/platform team supporting multiple verticals, both preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience
