Financial Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused individual who wants to evolve in a collaborative and constantly evolving environment. The successful candidate will be part of the Finance team in the Eastern Canada Division, contributing to financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and process improvement.

What You Will Do

Preparing management reports, financial analyses, and presentations for senior management and various teams; analyzing results, KPIs, and discrepancies between actual results, budget, and forecasts; participating in budgeting and forecasting processes; acting as a financial partner with various departments and accompanying managers in analyzing their results.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role; excellent Excel skills; a good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles (IFRS); knowledge of Power BI, an asset; excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities; autonomy, resourcefulness, curiosity, and initiative; and excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role
• Excellent Excel skills
• Good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles (IFRS)
• Knowledge of Power BI (asset)
• Bilingualism (advanced French and intermediate English)
