Senior Technical Marketing Engineer (8+ Years)

Role Overview

As a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer, you will work closely with strategic customers, product management, engineering, customer success, sales, and field teams to shape how Cisco Cloud Control is positioned, adopted, and scaled with customers.

You will help define and drive the technical marketing strategy for Cisco Cloud Control, with a strong focus on customer onboarding, product integrations, field readiness, and customer adoption. You will drive strategic customer engagement, build trusted technical relationships with customers, and translate customer operational challenges into product requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical marketing, product management, solutions engineering or a related technical customer-facing role
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, SaaS products, APIs, identity, authentication, and enterprise IT operations
• Proven track record leading senior-level customer engagements
• Ability to quickly learn complex technical products and explain them clearly to both technical and business audiences
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across product management, engineering, sales, support, and customer success
• Ability to create compelling technical content for both executive and deeply technical audiences
• Strong communication skills, including presentations, demos, writing, and cross-functional influence
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Operations, Enterprise Networking, Security, Observability, or Data Center infrastructure
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
