We are looking for a Senior Data Engineering Lead / Architect to design, build, and lead a team of data engineers, and champion a world-class data engineering culture. The role involves designing and building robust, scalable, and reliable data infrastructure, and partnering with leadership to develop a long-term data strategy and roadmap.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering
- 3+ years in a technical leadership or architect role
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or Scala preferred)
- Proven hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Extensive hands-on experience with modern big data technologies and Data streaming
- Proficiency with workflow orchestration tools
- Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architectures
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and database design
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data applications
- Experience with AI technologies
