The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) seeks a Data Analyst/Project Manager to drive data-driven decision-making, develop analytical strategies, and insights for the Analysis and Reporting Team.
Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above;
- High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above;
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to ‘1’ or ‘2’ above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in ‘1’ above;
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment;
- Strong problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement approach;
- Effectiveness in managing projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse stakeholders;
- Proficiency in Power BI, Smartsheet, Excel, Python, SQL, and other relevant tools and technologies;
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, including the ability to perform data wrangling, EDA, and predictive modeling;
- Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project tasks, minutes, and action items;
- Strong understanding of data integrity, performance, and security, and ability to apply predictive models to answer complex questions about EHS programs and anticipate future needs and behavior of the systems;
- Ability to review portfolio data to identify anomalies and ensure timely corrections are made to ensure accurate reporting;
- Ability to ensure all data is validated and crosswalked with supporting documentation and submitted Activity Reports;
- Ability to provide DQA training to all users and maintain Data Discrepancies Log;
- Ability to maintain Product Change Logs and track dashboard and checklist form versions;
- Ability to build and maintain EHS Master project status dashboard;
- Ability to perform special projects, ad-hoc analysis, and prepare relevant reports and presentations as assigned;
