Financial Operations Lead

Role Overview

Financial Operations Lead to join our growing Finance & Accounting team. This role will own the day-to-day financial operations that keep the business running smoothly, with a primary focus on accounts payable, employee spend, T&E, vendor management, and cash operations.

What You Will Do

Manage accounts payable, vendor operations, T&E, employee spend, cash operations, and financial reconciliations. Build scalable processes and infrastructure across these areas as Clay continues to grow.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant accounting, AP, T&E, or financial operations experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of AP, employee expenses/T&E, corporate cards, cash operations, and financial reconciliations
• Experience owning or significantly improving financial operations processes
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving systems, processes, and priorities
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset when working with employees, vendors, and cross-functional partners
