Marketing, Events & Business Development Lead responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events to enhance the firm’s brand visibility, engage clients, and support business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Conduct research regarding existing and prospective clients, competitor activity, and market trends/opportunities
  • Provide support to the pitch team in preparing presentations, proposals, and pitch materials
  • Research for each practice and sector, as well as specific geographical and industry sectors, in connection with various business development opportunities
  • Manage all office events, including logistics, invitations, mailing lists, handout materials, site management, speakers, visual presentations, and follow-up efforts
  • Coordinate services of caterers, in-house teams, and responsible lawyers in preparation for events
  • Supervising all aspects of events on-site (including setup, catering, wait staff, A/V, presentations, registration desk, and tear-down)
  • Update and publish any relevant internal event calendars or announcements in a timely manner
  • Manage marketing stock and branded items
  • Manage Kenya client lists client database, including general updates, unsubscribes, and bounce backs – CRM
