Cloudflare is looking for a Territory Solutions Engineer to join their Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering organisation. The role involves technical sales of Cloudflare’s solution portfolio for the Sub Saharan Africa region, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design, and efficient adoption roadmaps for customers. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of internet performance and security technology, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in easy-to-understand terms.
Requirements
- 3-to-10 years of experience in the IT industry
- Fluent English (written & spoken)
- Fluent Afrikaans would be a plus
- Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritise between competing demands
- Demonstrating empathy with customers and quickly identifying challenges and pain points they face
- Understanding of “how the internet works”
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape for one or more of: DDoS, CDN, Performance, DNS, Developer platform or Zero-Trust/SASE service providers
