Role Overview
The Reporting Data Engineer designs, develops, and supports data warehouse, integration, reporting, and monitoring solutions that make trusted data available for client, operational, financial, management, and regulatory needs.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain data warehouse processes, reporting datasets, data models, SQL objects, ETL packages, scheduled jobs, and related technical infrastructure. Support the development, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of reports using Actuate/OpenText, SSRS, Power BI, or comparable reporting platforms.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in data engineering, database development, data warehousing, reporting development, systems integration, or a related technical role
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, views, performance optimization, and data transformations
- Strong working knowledge of data warehouse design, data modeling, scheduled jobs, reporting datasets, and reporting platforms such as SSRS, Actuate/OpenText, or Power BI
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex data, reporting, ETL, and integration issues and implement reliable validation, reconciliation, logging, and error-handling controls
