Finance (Penang) – Payroll / Costing / Financial Analyst / GL / Cash Management

Role Overview

The Finance team at Coherent Corp. is looking for talented and motivated professionals to support business operations in Ipoh. The role involves various finance functions, including Payroll, Costing, Financial Analysis, General Ledger (GL), and Cash Management.

Responsibilities may include payroll processing, cost accounting, financial reporting, and cash management. The role requires strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Costing, Financial Analysis, General Ledger or Cash Management, depending on the position.
• Experience in the manufacturing, semiconductor or electronics industry would be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting or cost analysis, depending on the area of specialization.
• Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, financial controls and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP or other ERP/accounting systems would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment.
