Marketing Automation Strategist

Role Overview

The Marketing Automation Strategist is a strategic, hands-on resource within the Marketing Automation function, operating under the direction of the Associate Director, Digital Strategy. This role expands the team’s capacity to design, build, test, document, and optimize customer journeys within the marketing automation platform.

What You Will Do

Design, build, test, document, and optimize assigned marketing automation journeys while coordinating cross-platform requirements and dependencies with relevant business and technology partners. Translate business and journey strategies into scalable marketing automation platform requirements, audience definitions, business rules, and measurement plans.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, marketing technology, CDP, lifecycle marketing, customer journey management, or a related field, including experience supporting complex and varied marketing journeys. HubSpot experience is preferred.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, marketing technology, CDP, lifecycle marketing, customer journey management, or a related field
• Hands-on experience designing, building, testing, and optimizing marketing automation journeys and workflows
• Working knowledge of CRM, customer data platforms, analytics, consent, data governance, and integration concepts
• Experience translating business needs into functional requirements, data requirements, process flows, use cases, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready documentation
• Strong facilitation, systems-thinking, documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills
