Role Overview

The Campus Strategic Communications & Marketing Coordinator is a campus-based communications professional responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating integrated communications and marketing strategies that advance campus priorities.

What You Will Do

Develop and execute strategic communications and marketing initiatives, create and manage integrated campaigns, develop and distribute press releases, and write, edit, and produce documents such as reports, programs, invitations, fact sheets, flyers, or other collateral.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The Coordinator will support both campus and statewide objectives, and must have existing media relationships or the ability to establish those relationships, as well as excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriately related field
  • Two (2) or more years of related experience
  • Professional practice of journalism, social media, and public relations
  • Copy writing
  • Desktop Publishing
  • Event Planning
  • Photography
  • Media Relations
  • Presentation skills
