Role Overview

The Director, Go to Market Engineering will lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing evolution of production software, data products, and AI-enabled workflows for Sales and Marketing. The role sits within Corpay’s Sales & Marketing organization and partners with various teams to drive measurable business outcomes.

What You Will Do

The Director will combine first-party and third-party data to improve account prioritization, seller productivity, qualified pipeline, time to productivity, and multi-product adoption. They will guide a team with complementary capabilities across software and data engineering, including pipelines, APIs, enterprise integrations, and trusted data models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA or advanced degree often preferred)
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in software engineering, data engineering, data science, AI/ML, or a closely related technical field
  • At least 7 years of hands-on technical experience designing, building, and supporting production-grade software, data products, platforms, integrations, or AI-enabled solutions
  • At least 3 years of progressive leadership experience leading engineers, technical teams, major delivery initiatives, or technical strategy in a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with sufficient technical depth to guide architecture, engineering standards, delivery quality, and operational reliability
  • Experience partnering with commercial functions such as Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, or Product to deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization and in a matrixed environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, high-pressure environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business results
