People Operations & Talent Specialist (Recruiter)

Role Overview

The People Operations & Talent Specialist will bridge candidate recruitment and core people operations, serving as an essential driver of our recruitment efforts and managing foundational HR operations.

What You Will Do

The role involves sourcing, attracting, and engaging qualified candidates for Direct Support Professional positions, developing and refreshing job advertisements, conducting initial phone screenings, and tracking recruitment metrics.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–4 years of progressive experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or blended HR operations
• HRIS Proficiency: Hands-on experience working directly in ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN) or a comparable enterprise HRIS/ATS system
• Compliance Knowledge: Working familiarity with federal and North Carolina employment regulations, confidentiality protocols (HIPAA), and healthcare credentialing standards
• Interpersonal Excellence: High emotional intelligence, active listening skills, and an authentic, welcoming communication style that treats team members like family
• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience); SHRM-CP or aHR/PHR certification is an asset
