Analytics Engineer

Role Overview

The Analytics Engineer will partner closely with stakeholders and internal data teams to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions. The role will analyze; integrate data from multiple datasets, write and optimize SQL for analytics; reporting, own end-to-end analytics deliverables, and recommend data and reporting improvements.

What You Will Do

Analyze and integrate data from disparate datasets to develop niche reporting tables and generate meaningful business insights, design and build scalable reporting architecture that supports evolving analytics needs, and apply software engineering best practices to analytics code.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in the analytics domain as a data analyst/data engineer/data scientist
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguous requirements, analyze and integrate datasets and build targeted reporting tables, executive dashboards and KPIs
• Demonstrated expertise in building and owning the analytics semantic layer, including metric definitions, data models & business logic
• Understanding of how data insights translate to business value and competitive advantage
• Programming experience in R, Python, or similar analytical languages is preferred
• Experience with dashboard development in Tableau or Sigma
• Eagerness to learn new technologies, methodologies, and business domains
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Knowledge of the music industry is an asset
