Financial Analyst

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst will support recurring forecasting, monthly performance reporting, commercial analysis, and business partnership across CRA’s media, events, communities, demand generation, and related business lines. The analyst will work closely with FP&A leadership, Accounting, Sales Operations, Revenue leadership, and operating teams to turn financial and commercial data into clear, actionable insight.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include maintaining assigned portions of the monthly forecast, analyzing actual results against budget and forecast, supporting annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting, and preparing scenario analyses to evaluate staffing changes, vendor decisions, investments, cost reductions, and other operating decisions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, commercial finance, or a related analytical role, with experience supporting a media, events, business intelligence, advertising, or other multi-product organization strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or another quantitative field
• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, commercial finance, financial analysis, or a related role
• Experience partnering directly with Sales, Revenue, Marketing, Events, Operations, or other commercial teams
• Experience in media, events, advertising, business intelligence, demand generation, subscriptions, or another multi-product revenue environment strongly preferred
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills, including the ability to organize large datasets, build checks, audit formulas, and maintain recurring models
• Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and financial statement concepts
• Ability to connect financial outcomes to operational drivers and communicate the ‘why’ behind performance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and follow through with stakeholders
