We are looking for a Director, Business Development to proactively prospect, develop, and close software business within targeted client accounts at Cytel, a company that advances the state of clinical development. The ideal candidate will have clinical CRO experience and be able to create and execute strategic software sales plans, foster strong client relationships, and lead the development of RFP/RFI responses.

Requirements

  • Proactively prospect, develop, and close software business within targeted client accounts
  • Create and execute strategic software sales plans
  • Support the development of software sales strategies for regional business development teams
  • Collaborate with commercial team members to prepare and implement account plans
  • Lead the development of RFP/RFI responses, capabilities presentations, bid defenses, work order preparations, and amendments
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal Cytel teams
