Role Overview

DaCodes is a software and digital transformation firm seeking a Data Engineer to operate, maintain, and evolve the company’s data layer and reporting. The role involves translating business needs into datasets, models, pipelines, and dashboards to support key decisions.

What You Will Do

The Data Engineer will operate, monitor, and optimize data pipelines, model and transform data with SQL and dbt, design and maintain dashboards and reports, and diagnose and resolve incidents.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or BI Engineer roles, with solid SQL handling and experience operating data pipelines in cloud environments.

Requirements

• Experience in Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, BI Engineer, or similar roles
• Solid SQL handling for extraction, validation, modeling, and optimization of queries
• Experience operating data pipelines in cloud environments, ideally AWS
• Practical knowledge of Redshift and data warehouse structures
• Experience working with data lakes, source integration, and transformation layers
• Experience with Airflow and dbt
• Experience building reporting and dashboard solutions
• Ability to work with BI tools such as Metabase, Luzmo, Superset, Tableau, and inherited processes in Pentaho
• Experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders and landing ambiguous requirements
