Growth Projects Land Representative

Role Overview

The Growth Projects Land Representative is a project-focused land professional responsible for leading and coordinating landowner engagement, land acquisition, and land access activities for the life cycle of new and existing Growth Projects. Project management capability is the primary focus and top priority for this role.

What You Will Do

Plan, coordinate, and execute landowner engagement and land acquisition/access activities end-to-end in alignment with project and business unit objectives. Identify land requirements, constraints, and risks associated with projects, acquisitions, and business development opportunities, and proactively mitigate or escalate issues as required.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Strong project management capability alongside land negotiation experience—must be able to manage the project land scope end-to-end rather than solely negotiating individual files. Relevant land experience in the oil and gas sector (upstream or midstream pipeline and energy companies, land service providers, or land brokers qualify).

Requirements

• Strong project management capability
• Land negotiation experience
• Relevant land experience in the oil and gas sector
• Working knowledge or awareness of regulatory regimes
• Demonstrated experience directing, managing, and evaluating third-party land service providers, brokers, and appraisers
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Proven analytical skills, sound judgment, and experience leading complex land negotiations and issue resolutions
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• High adaptability to tech systems
• Experience with MS Copilot and working experience in the Pandell land database considered assets
