Senior Data Analyst – Traffic / Acquisition

Role Overview

Our Data Analytics E-commerce team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst – Traffic / Acquisition to support Decathlon’s e-commerce challenges at an international scale. The team supports data-driven decision-making to make digital products more performant, fluid, and user-centered.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Data Analyst, your role will be to bring a strategic analytical vision to accompany the Product team. You will analyze traffic by acquisition channel, understand attribution mechanisms, and pilot the performance of optimizations implemented in the team.

Requirements

• Expertise in Web Analytics & Marketing Digital
• Advanced knowledge of web traffic analysis tools (Amplitude) and SEO platforms (Google Search Console)
• Solid SEO expertise
• Expert mastery of the SQL language
• Practical experience with Cloud/Big Data environments like Databricks
• Good understanding of technical SEO (indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals)
• Great intellectual curiosity, active vigilance on search engine evolution (AI-generated, LLM, GEO)
• Appetite for experimenting with new analytical methodologies
• Proven ability to measure the incremental value of product evolutions and provide strategic recommendations for optimizing the customer experience
• Excellent ability to vulgarize data, create data storytelling, and interact with fluidity in professional English (oral and written)
• Willingness to share knowledge within the collective, participation in building a reference Data E-commerce expertise, and contribution to the global Data strategy of Decathlon
