Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Consolidation & Reporting

Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide opportunities for cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across Finance, other business areas, and Definity-owned subsidiaries. This role will own the monthly consolidation process for Westmount Financial Inc. and its subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

What You Will Do

Prepare and review consolidation entries, support accounting and reporting requirements, and assist with regulatory surveys and other corporate reporting requirements.

Requirements

• University or college degree in business, finance, or related program
• A CPA accounting designation (SFA), or working towards a CPA accounting designation
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidation, and intercompany accounting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines
• 3+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
