Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our Data Intelligence team and help shape how data is ingested, modeled, and consumed across the organization. In this role, you will work at the intersection of business and technology, delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable data solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in IT or a related field, combined with several years of hands-on experience building and operating enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Strong expertise in modern data engineering, including cloud and hybrid environments (Azure Fabric, Google Cloud, on-prem SQL), ETL/ELT architectures, APIs, and data modeling for analytical use cases.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with solid experience using Git for version control and Terraform for infrastructure-as-code; bonus experience with SQLX, YAML, and/or HTML.
• Proven results in designing scalable data solutions, conducting POCs, and resolving complex issues through structured root-cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining semantic and BI layers, including LookML and/or DAX, enabling governed self-service analytics at scale.
• Ability to communicate with others clearly and effectively, and capabilities of delivering timely updates to stakeholders and simplifying complex technical concepts.
• Collaborative team player mindset, actively contributing during development, reviews, and incident resolution.
• Familiarity working within data governance and management frameworks to ensure compliance with relevant legislation (GDPR, HIPAA, APA etc.)
