Role Overview

As a Business Development Executive, you will take ownership of the sales scouting process to grow and secure new business opportunities for Derse. You will maintain current and new relationships and support the Derse brand. You will identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in each of Derse’s supported areas in alignment with sales strategy.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, researching and identifying target accounts, developing outreach plans, collaborating with the Director of Business Development and Corporate Marketing, nurturing relationships, maintaining accurate records, conducting client discovery calls, leading sales consultation processes, and providing regular progress updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales Management, Marketing, or similar
  • Minimum of 3 years of business development, sales scouting, or account management experience
  • Trade show / live event industry experience preferred
  • Highly organized, flexible, and ability to work necessary hours (including potential weekends) in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to travel domestically & international for new business opportunities
