Role Overview
The Credit Risk Officer is responsible for handling approvals for all related loan transactions, analyzing and recommending approvals/declines, or new loan terms for proposed transactions for Private Bank / Wealth Management Clientele. The role involves monitoring counterparty credit limits, maintaining data integrity for all names and transactions in Lending and Risk Management systems, and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include independently assessing lending and derivative transactions, assigning credit ratings, preparing independent credit memos, making credit decisions, monitoring the portfolio, and ensuring portfolio quality remains satisfactory.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of banking experience, with a focus on structured lending in wealth management or corporate credit risk management, and a strong academic record. The role requires strong Excel-based data analysis and financial modelling skills, as well as the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity.
Requirements
- At-least 3 years of banking experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Science, or an MBA
