Role Overview

As a Data and Analytics Engineer, you will accompany the entire lifecycle of modern data solutions from conception to development and deployment to productive operation. You will collaborate with departments to develop scalable technical and analytical solutions from functional requirements. You will also support the successful implementation of data-driven projects with data analysts, data scientists, data engineers, central BI teams, and external partners.

You will drive the continuous improvement of data quality and transparent data structures forward. You will assess opportunities for automation and develop suitable solutions using modern technologies and AI. You will also ensure a reliable operation of data and analytics applications.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Data Science, or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of professional experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Architect, or in a comparable technical data role
  • Experience in developing scalable data pipelines and analytical data models
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, and SQL, as well as good programming skills in Python
  • Willingness to acquire knowledge in web technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, or Next.js
  • Experience in data governance, data lineage, and ensuring high data quality
  • Interest in automation, AI, and the continuous further development of data and analytics solutions
  • Team player with a positive mindset and an eye for data and facts
  • Very good German language skills and good English language skills
