Senior Data Operations Manager

Role Overview

The Manager, Data Operations will lead a team of Data Ops Analysts and Senior Analysts, ensuring their growth and high data quality. They will oversee data quality checks, remediation, and taxonomy governance, while guiding the data engineering team and assisting analysts with SQL scripts and dataflows.

What You Will Do

The role involves maintaining ongoing management and stewardship of data governance, processing, and reporting, as well as identifying areas of improvement to ensure data quality standards are met. The Manager will also serve as a knowledge expert for media and site data processes, influencing teams towards data-informed decision-making and analytical thinking.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of applicable experience in analytics, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They will be proficient with SQL and data visualization tools, and have experience with tools like Alteryx. Knowledge of digital data technologies and Python/R is a plus.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of applicable experience in analytics
• Experience managing a team
• A four-year college degree; advanced degree is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with SQL and data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio)
• Experience with tools like Alteryx a must
• Knowledge of digital data technologies (Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platforms, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience with Python and/or R a plus
• Experience working with Google Cloud and AWS a plus
