Role Overview

Discovery Alert is a Perth-based, AI-native financial media group that turns ASX announcements into market intelligence and investor media. We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to develop and manage a pipeline of ASX-listed companies through proactive outreach and engage directly with CEOs, Managing Directors, and investor relations teams.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include developing and managing a pipeline of ASX-listed companies, engaging directly with senior-level executives, structuring and closing investor media packages, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development or B2B sales
• A proactive, self-driven approach to outbound prospecting and phone-based selling
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate a message clearly and persuasively
• Quick to learn and adapt, with a genuine interest in using AI to work smarter
• Personable and confident building relationships at senior levels
• Available to travel for industry events and conferences as required
