Business Development Director

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Director who will lead the process of expanding Nova Power & Gas beyond the borders of Romania. The role has high visibility within the organization and reports directly to the Deputy CEO.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities include defining and implementing the commercial development strategy, identifying and prioritizing new business opportunities, and developing market analysis and business cases.

Requirements

• Higher education completed, preferably in the field of economics, energy, technology, or similar
• Experience in the energy industry, especially in electricity supply or gas supply
• Relevant experience in Business Development, Commercial Management, International Sales, or Market Expansion
• Proven experience in developing business in international markets or regional expansion projects
• Experience in developing relationships with corporate clients, strategic partners, and institutional stakeholders
• Understanding of market entry processes: establishing local entities/offices, authorization, and licensing
• Excellent negotiation, representation, and commercial partnership building skills
• Ability to analyze markets and identify growth opportunities; comfort working with business cases and forecasts
• Strategic thinking, high autonomy, and strong orientation towards results
• Advanced level of English (written and spoken)
• Availability for frequent travel in Romania and Europe
