Lead Developer – Sales Reporting

Eaton’s North American Sales division is seeking a Lead Developer – Sales Reporting to join its team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves developing and maintaining sales reporting systems while supporting strategic initiatives and business decision-making.

Requirements

• Develop software and report queries to support Sales Reporting using SQL, PL/SQL, Natural/Adabas and JCL
• Communicate with Sales Reporting personnel at all levels to anticipate and determine enhancements to aid them in decision making through software development, reporting and data analytics
• Review business functional requirements documents and provide technical feasibility assessments
• Assess functional requirements to develop the technical specifications which show that all functional aspects are accounted for in the technical design
• Support functional managers to identify areas of potential process improvements
• Establish and manage metrics and drive follow-up to achieve sustained process enhancements
• Create and communicate procedural improvements and new process documentation
• Work with related project teams, such as Information Technology (IT), in support of targeted process enhancements
