People Operations Specialist – HR Generalist

Role Overview

The role requires a Senior People Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day operation of the People function in Poland. The specialist will work closely with employees, managers, the regional People team, the payroll provider, benefits suppliers, and Polish authorities.

What You Will Do

Manage the employee lifecycle, prepare and manage employment contracts, maintain personnel files, coordinate occupational medicine examinations, and reconcile payroll data.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of experience in HR operations, People Operations or a similar HR role.
• Practical and up-to-date knowledge of Polish employment law and employment documentation.
• Experience working with an external payroll provider and reviewing payroll calculations.
• Understanding of Polish law relocation requirements.
• Experience with Polish absence, annual leave, maternity, parental and sickness-related processes.
• Experience administering employee benefits and PPK.
• Ability to read and assess Polish-language employment, payroll and screening documentation.
• Experience working with HR systems.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies and potential compliance risks.
• Good understanding of confidentiality, data protection and HR documentation requirements.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise deadlines and manage several processes at the same time.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluency in Polish and strong written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience working in an international and multicultural environment.
