The Sales Manager MP role will focus on Motive Power applications, including forklifts, hub trucks, and other equipment. The successful candidate will develop and implement sales and service plans, manage a team of representatives, and achieve commercial and business objectives.
Requirements
- Develop and Implement the sales/service and/or business plan
- Manage the assigned area/unit within the overall business strategy
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Find suitable representation for all markets within the assigned geography
- Train the field staff in solution-selling skills
- Lead by example in the development of major accounts
- Facilitate the business process and assist with problem resolution
- Attain sales, service, and signed contract quotas
- Price negotiation
- Design and present presentations to meet customers’ expectations
- Handle all reporting and forecasting functions
- Develop direct sales
- Work with operations on varying issues
- Assist/manage with the workload, sales activity, account responsibilities, travel, expenses, reports for sales staff
- Review financial statements, sales, and activity reports
