Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Data Manager and Engineer to join our team for an ambitious modernization project within a federal environment. The focus is on analysis, design, and implementation within a complex data landscape with structured and unstructured data, both on-premises and in the cloud.
What You Will Do
You will work on the further development of a data-driven organization and take independent data management and data engineering activities. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team with technical and non-technical colleagues and work closely with stakeholders in a complex context.
Why It Might Be a Fit
A presence of 3 days a week at the office is expected. Candidates who are looking for a pure lead or advisory role may not fit well within this assignment.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science from a recognized European university or college.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in data management within complex organizations.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, both on-premises and in cloud environments, with structured and unstructured data.
- At least 5 years of experience with master data management and metadata management.
- At least 5 years of experience with data quality and data governance.
- At least 5 years of experience with data integration and data security.
- At least 5 years of experience with data pipelines, including workflow automation, batch, and real-time processing.
- At least 5 years of experience with data storage and data architecture.
- At least 5 years of experience with data collection and data processing.
- At least 5 years of experience with data transformation and data integration.
- At least 5 years of experience with predictive and prescriptive analysis.
- At least 3 years of experience with data migrations from on-premises to cloud environments.
- At least 3 years of experience with setting up and using Azure Cloud Data Platforms.
- At least 3 years of experience with SAP BO and Power BI for data visualization.
- 5 years of experience working in agile teams.
- Good knowledge of English and Dutch or French.
- Good knowledge of asylum institutions and asylum procedures.
