Role Overview

The Production Tech III-CRO will operate and maintain systems associated with a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) facility, demonstrating safety awareness and direction to continuously improve performance. The role requires participation in a multi-year production technician multi-skill progression plan to develop key skills in maintenance and operations. The employee will be responsible for conducting and participating in job briefings and safety meetings, as well as conducting contractor safety orientations.

What You Will Do

Operate and maintain systems associated with a CCGT facility, conduct and participate in job briefings and safety meetings, conduct contractor safety orientations, and perform inspections, calibrations, installations, repairs, diagnostics, testing, and troubleshooting of complex instrumentation equipment and regulating devices.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plant systems, burner controls, turbine controls, data acquisition, process controls, and regulating devices. They will also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to interpret and comprehend P&ID’s, electrical schematics, network diagrams, and OEM manuals.

Requirements

  • 2 Year Associate’s Degree in Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation/Controls or Production/Process Technology or equivalent work experience
  • Production Tech I, II, and CRO: 2-5 years experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; or 5 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience
  • Production Tech III: 0-2 years experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; or 4 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience
