Role Overview
The Business Data Analyst role sits at the intersection of data infrastructure and decision-making, translating raw data into analyses and dashboards that leadership and cross-functional teams use to make decisions.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining complex SQL models, designing and delivering dashboards, owning and evolving the company metrics layer, conducting deep-dive analyses, and partnering with data engineers to improve pipeline reliability.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering roles, with expertise in SQL, dbt, and cloud data warehouses, as well as proficiency in building dashboards and working knowledge of Python or R.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering roles
- Expert-level SQL: window functions, CTEs, query optimization on large datasets (100M+ row tables)
- Hands-on experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks, and a modern cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Proficiency building dashboards in Tableau, Looker, or Power BI, with a portfolio of stakeholder-facing deliverables
- Working knowledge of Python (pandas) or R for analysis and prototyping beyond SQL
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience
