Role Overview
As a Data Engineer III on the Clickstream Data Products team, you will design, build, and scale data platforms and services that capture and deliver critical behavioral signals across Expedia Group. You will develop resilient data pipelines, automated quality frameworks, and scalable data products that ensure our data is accurate, reliable, timely, and easy to consume.
What You Will Do
Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and services that support business and product outcomes across multiple domains. Apply strong technical aptitude to data engineering challenges, including system design, low-level design, API design, data modeling, and scalable data processing.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience building and operating production data pipelines, services, or platforms with ownership spanning multiple services or a defined technical domain.
- Proficiency in data modeling, data processing, software development fundamentals, API design, and system design, including low-level design.
- Experience developing maintainable, testable, and reliable solutions, with an understanding of observability, incident response, performance, and operational excellence.
